Connecting the BIS Community

Autumn Break

Written by: Anel Kongantieva and Matilda

On October 23rd to November 3rd, the BIS Community went on vacation. This term was filled with many exciting events, during which new students got to know each other better, learned more about our school and became more open and sociable with others.

When we’ve all returned from break, BIS will be able to celebrate the Fall Festival! And the many other exciting holidays and special events BIS has planned. BIS also celebrates the last day of term 1! On the last day, we celebrate our achievements and those we shared it with. On this day, feelings range from joy to sadness and melancholy as we will be away from our beloved school for a whole week.

Students spend time with each other and with teachers, discussing their break plans.

Grade 12 in particular has a busy ‘break’ with their IAs and EE deadlines. But with the upper management being so kind and supportive, we have no doubts that their work will be nothing short of superb!

We hope everyone has a very good, and restful break. May you return to school with renewed energy, an eagerness to learn and a good mood.
